BUSY YEAR AHEAD FOR SENIOR MILESTONES

10 APR | BY BRENTON WESTELL

We’ll be keeping the club printer busy churning out certificates and the club statistician will be pulling out what little hair he has left with the major player milestones potentially on offer this year.

In addition to a swag of 50 game and goal kicking achievements, there’ll be no less than nine 100 gamers, nine 150 gamers, and a 250th game thrown in for good measure.

Our most recent major milestones were Nate Chettle and Ollie Moss who hit the 150 mark against Henley.

Ollie was recruited from our juniors in 2008. Named in the Div 1 Team of the Year last year, he started his career as a key forward, has been a pinch hitter in the ruck, and now a defender who soundly won the match up with Henley’s Johncock last weekend. Hard at it and playing as well as ever.

Nate was also a ripper recruit from the crop of 08. Multiple club B&F winner and Runner Up. An elite pacy rover, and a clearance specialist. Enjoys serenading his team mates on the piano.

And not to mention in Round 1, Will “Bruce” Batty hit the ton and a half with the reserves.
