Crows players make a visit to Jet Park for Auskick skills night

Excitement aplenty at Jet Park last night (June 27) as hundreds of budding future champions descended on Kingswood for the Auskick skills night.

Adding to the hubbub was the presence of Crows players Rory Laird, Andy Ottens and David McKay who ran the young stars through their paces, gave them tips on improving their game, impressed the importance of fun in playing footy, and, most importantly, handed out freebies and autographs to the adoring fans. (We noted a few mums and dads in the “meet and greet” line-up too, obviously helping keep the kids quiet – wink wink.)

Much kudos to Brenton Milewski on bidding, and winning, the rights to host the event btw; this puts your club on the bigger stage in the local area, so apart from the great joy and enthusiasm it creates for the kids, it shows off The Jets in a great light. Brenton’s hard work has made our club a magnet for Juniors in the region, and indeed beyond.

We look forward to all our Auskickers enjoying The Jets environment for their 2017 program, welcome them and all their parents to our great community, and look forward to a long career wearing “The Black and the Blue”.

“Community, Sustainability, Achievement” – GO JETS!!!
