Matty Joins the 150 Club

13 JUN 2018 | BY WESTELL

Your Club welcomes a new addition to the “150 Club” with Matty Moss reaching that milestone this week.

Matt started seniors in 2008 alongside brother Olly, also a 150 gamer, and formed part of the “new wave” of ex juniors transitioning to senior footy around that time.

He shared in some great highlights over the intervening years, not the least of which was the A Grade Premiership in 2012.

Matt is a fantastic team man who is very popular with team mates, and a top bloke to boot. A qualified physical trainer, he takes on the conditioning role for the senior sides with the result that significant number of players rise through the lower grades under his fitness leadership, preseason fitness training regime etc.

Matt would have reached this milestone earlier had it not been for his entry program into the SA Fire Brigade, following in his father Graham’s footsteps. Now a qualified cat rescuer, he has resumed competitive footy and is an important component of the reserves side, capable of playing all around the ground but often across the midfield and half back.

Dad Graham, and mum Rosie are keen supporters and have been an encouraging influence on both Matt’s and Ollie’s footy. To the whole Moss clan, well done on Matt’s 150, and being a fabulous Jets family.

At the end of the season, his name will be added to the “150 Club” Honour Board.
