174 Jets faithful packed into the Arkaba Top Room last Saturday to celebrate season 2018, and acknowledge the key achievements of the year, both at a club and individual level.
The crowning moment was the announcement of Daniel Caire as the Club B&F, after a stellar season.
The event was once again hosted by Ben Hook with special guest Tom Rehn assisting throughout the night, and teaming up once again to present the phantom call to the delight of the crowd.
Departing Club President Rod Stuart acknowledged the contribution of our fabulous sponsors, and of departing officials Brenton Milewski and Peta Rayson in addition to our long serving bar staff, also retiring this year, Sonia and Rosanna. Rod was then surprised with the award of Club Person of the Year, acknowledging the massive contribution in 2018 in addition to the many years of service to the club.
With a strong youth development focus, a new perpetual award was created this year. The ‘Club Emerging Talent Award for Best Player U21’, was introduced by Michael Doughty and presented to Oscar Munn.
