As reported in our social media, your club’s recruitment team have been hard at work already and secured some great talent in preparation for the 2019 campaign. Two past players return to The Hanger, and a a couple of talented new faces to report on so far, with more exciting developments in the coming weeks. (Note: All potential players are welcome, so if you know someone who might like to get out for pre-season, please invite them along – follow the link for the full schedule (First session Thursday 22nd November 6pm Mercedes College with a welcome BBQ after training)

We’re delighted to welcome to the Jets for 2019….

Luke McEntee.
Luke started his football career at the North Adelaide Football Club from where he was drafted to the Hawthorn Football club.
After spending 3 years at the Hawks he returned to North Adelaide before playing for Torrens Valley in the Hills League where he was a best and fairest winner (2014), before transferring to the Reynella football club where he has been for the last 4 years (2015-2018).
During his time at Reynella Luke was a premiership player winning best on ground honours (2015), Anzac Day medallist (2016) and multiple SFL team of the year recipient (2016 & 2017).
Luke works locally to the Jets, being a mortgage broker at Search Mortgages – Unley.

Anthony Skara
Anthony “Took” Skara comes from the Goodwood Saints in Division 1, where he has marked his trade for the last 11 years.
During his time at the Saints he’s been a: Division 1 premiership player (2014-15); SAAFL State Representative (2013, 2016 & 2017); Division 1 Team of the Year recipient (2011, 2016 & 2018); and was also the clubs leading goal kicker in 2018.
Fun Fact: Anthony Skara was Jet junior in 2003-04. Welcome home

Mitch Minns
Mitchell Minns comes from Reynella Football Club in the Southern Football League. During his time at Reynella Mitchell was a SFL association player(2015-2016); Southern districts zone player (2015);premiership player (2015) and has played 3 league games for the Adelaide Crows as a Crows Development Squad player (2016)
Mitchell is 21 years old and is a firefighter

Jye De Zylva
Jye De Zylva returns to the Jets from Mannum after last playing in the 2015 grand final. During his time at Mannum Jye played in a grand final and was a RMFL association player. Jye was also a former Under 18 captain and best and fairest at West Adelaide. He will again also be part of the Crows development squad in 2019.
